We are pleased to advise that as of Monday 28 September 2020, the Gautrain train service intervals on weekdays will be reduced on both the North-South and the East-West lines from 15 minutes to 12 minutes.

This means on weekdays, trains will be available every 12-minutes during the peak periods. In the off-peak periods, trains will be available every 24-minutes.

• The peak periods are between 05h30 – 09h30 and 14h30 – 18h00.
• The off-peak periods are between 09h30 – 14h30 and 18h00 – 20h30.

On weekends and public holidays, trains are available every 30 minutes throughout the day. Please be reminded, trains operate from 05h30 until 20h30 daily.

The weekday Gautrain bus service timetable will be amended to accommodate the changes made to the weekday train service.
